Stroll between museums and parks in Tampico

After three years of the pandemic, the tourism sector is reactivating again and for this Holy Week the various service providers are preparing to receive walkers. A few days before one of the most anticipated seasons of the year begins, the hotel sector reports a significant number of reservations.

Victory Museum of 1829

It is located on the ground floor of the former Maritime Customs building. Automobile Museum (MATT)

In this museum you can find a collection of more than 100 vehicles from the years of 1886 to 2017, they are divided into old, classic and contemporary.

To give it greater relevance, each exhibition room has an allusive decoration, the museum has an audiovisual room, an area for Formula 1 simulators, a shop and also a restaurant.

It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., general admission is 80 pesos for adults and 20 pesos for children. It is located on the North South Diagonal #1418 of the Los Pinos neighborhood in Tampico.

Museum of the City

It is a museum that will rescue the historical memory of the port. The visitor will be able to take a tour through different eras and learn about its events and facts that marked the history of this city, as well as learn about its cultural and gastronomic wealth.

It is currently under construction and at this moment there is a small room for citizens to learn about the project, in addition to observing a small exhibition.

Pyramid of the Flowers

It is an archaeological zone that according to research was a Huastec settlement in pre-Hispanic times.
